Ogle County Health Has Just Enough Vaccine to Complete 2nd Dose, No 1st Dose Being Scheduled For Now

The Whiteside County Health Department announced Friday 13 new cases of COVID-19 in Whiteside County.   The cases are 1 under the age of 20, 1 in their 20’s, 2 in their 30’s, 6 in their 40’s, 1 in their 60’s and 2 in their 80’s.

The Ogle County Health Department says due to the lack of new dose being sent to them, they are using all of their current allocations of the Covid Vaccine to complete the 2nd dose vaccinations.  At this time they are unable to schedule those needing their 1st dose.

The department is experiencing a 75% reduction in their allocations.  Due to this the department is asking residents to be patient.
