Two Persons Injured in UTV Accident Over the Weekend

On Saturday shortly after 10 am the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a UTV crash in a field west of Harmon Road and south of Keigwin Road in rural Harmon, Lee County.

According to Deputies a Polaris Razor, driven by 29 year old Eric Ringle of Walnut rolled onto its roof while traveling through the field. Ringle was transported to CGH Medical Center and was treated for his injuries and released. A passenger, 43 year old Christopher Dye, also of Walnut, was also transported to CGH Medical Center, then later flown to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Walnut Fire Department. The crash is still under investigation.
