The current normal in the Country and the Sauk Valley includes Social Distancing. This is that time of staying 6 feet from someone else as well as staying at home with no unnecessary travel. But, how are we doing?
The company Unacast using cell phone data has developed the Social Distancing Scoreboard. According to Unacast they have been able to purchase cell phone data that shows when individuals are outside instead of inside a building.
According to the Scoreboard, Illinois is getting an “A” for social distancing, but, what about the Sauk Valley. Data from Unacast has given Lee, Ogle and Whiteside Counties a “B” while Carroll County received an “A”.
