AFC’s Penick Signs to Play Basketball at Clarke University in Dubuque

Ashton-Franklin Center Senior Camdyn Penick has signed her letter of intent to play college basketball at Clarke University in Dubuque next year.

Penick averaged 14.8 points, 2.3 steals and 2.0 assist per game for the Lady Raiders this past season. When it came to 3-point shooting, Penick drained over 100 shots from 3-point range in her senior season for AFC.

Penick had a career night on February 10th, 2020. In a Class 1A Regional Quarterfinal win over Kirkland (Hiawatha) 55-30, Penick set the single game scoring record at AFC with 41 points for the Lady Raiders.

Clarke University is a member of the Heart of American Athletic Conference. The Pride women’s basketball team went 6-19 this past season.
