Wednesday afternoon around 3:45 Congresswoman Bustos will deliver donated books from the Library of Congress to the Rock Falls Public Library.
The Library of Congress’ Surplus Book Program was established to help provide excess books to libraries across America as well as qualified non-profit institutions. Congresswoman Bustos typically picks children’s books to deliver to help kids develop a lifelong passion for reading.
At this event, Congresswoman Bustos will also be available to discuss the issues of the day. This will be the 50th stop on Bustos’ Library of Congress Book Delivery Tour. She will deliver her 2,500th book since launching this program.
