Hometown Holidays Said To Bring In Record Numbers

This is the time of year when many communities will be holding special holiday walks and events.

Rock Falls has jumped into it again with both feet as this past weekend was the Hometown Holidays.  This three day event was helped with great weather and according to Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bethany Bland, they had a large amount of activities all weekend long.

Bland said they had over 100 volunteers and 70 businesses participate in the Hometown Holidays.  The Bingo night was sold out with 608 players.  Christmas Walk open houses reported record numbers, & the Children’s Party was packed. Bland said none of that is possible without the help of volunteers, sponsors, a fantastic community, and professional teamwork of the Rock Falls Chamber staff.
