Mary Margaret Fordham, 72, of Dixon, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019, at Balfour Senior Living, Louisville, CO.
She worked as a production control supervisor/materials manager for 42 years with various companies, including Henry Pratt Company, Tyco Valves and Penberthy prior to her retirement in 2013.
Mary was born, August 25, 1947, in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of Robert and Jean (Strom) Craig. She enjoyed swimming at the YMCA, bowling, playing euchre, gardening and reading. Most of all, she loved to bake and share her treats with friends and family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dixon, IL.
She is survived by her son, Craig Fordham; daughter, Christine Dahm; five grandchildren, Emilee Fordham, Garrett Fordham, Alivia Fordham, Lleyton Dahm and Caroline Dahm; two brothers, Danny Craig, William Craig; and one sister, Sandra Albaugh.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial gathering will be from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, October 11, 2019, at the Preston-Schilling Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, October 12, 2019, at First United Methodist Church in Dixon, with Pastor Timothy Mitchell, officiating. Burial will be 10:30 am on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Kewanee, IL.
