New Officer Sworn In for Oregon Police Department

At Tuesday night Oregon City Council meeting the council voted unanimously to hire Maison Crawford as the new Police Officer of the Oregon Police Department. Mayor Ken Williams then swore Officer Crawford in.

Officer Crawford grew up in the Oregon area and Chief DeHaan said Crawford will make a great addition to our department.

Officer Crawford will start the 14 week Police Academy on Monday at the Macon County Police Academy in Decatur.
