The event has grown now to cover 4 days and is filled from morning till night with activities and entertainment. Jon Miller, President of the Festival Committee, says they have plenty of fun for the family and the kids, including a kids fun fair, petting zoo and kids water fights.
He also pointed out the dunk tank and who the lucky dunkees with be. Besides the committee members, some of the community sports teams.
Miller said the city council and police department was invited, but, they declined.
The Polo Town and Country Days comes to a close on Sunday with the Father’s Day Grande Parade. Some people wonder why Polo has their fireworks display on Thursday night of the festival. Miller says it is a great way to kick off the event and if it rains, they have three other days to choose from.
