With the goal of better equipping students across the county to succeed in a digital economy, Century Link Inc is awarding $750,000 to fund nearly 200 classroom projects. This is part of the Century Link Clark M Williams Foundations 2018-2019 Teachers and Technology grant program.
One Illinois school was chosen to receive a portion of the funds for a project they have planned. St. Mary Elementary and Jr. High School in Dixon will be receiving $5,000. Teacher Luke Phillips will present a project called CAD and 3D Printing Initiative.
Grants funded through 2018-2019 program will provide a range of equipment to classrooms so students can learn about and embrace newer technologies.
