Whiteside County Sheriff Recognizes Those Who Helped to Bring a Bundle of Joy into the World

On April 20, 2019 first responders raced to a call of a woman giving birth on the side of the roadway in Lyndon IL.

Whiteside County Sheriff John Booker said we are so proud of the quick response by all of these first responders, Lyndon Fire/Rescue, and especially for the work of our Deputies, Deputy Coutts, Deputy Coward, and Deputy Hamstra.

He further mentioned he would like to give special recognition for the calm voices on the other end of the 911 call providing step by step instructions to help deliver this little bundle of joy. The two 911 Dispatchers were Cheryl Bush and Lexi Lindskog and Booker said they are very proud of their part in this story too.

Just a quick update, Mom, Dad, and Baby are doing fantastic.
