Paul C. Williams, age 61, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, IL, after battling cancer.
He was born to Donald and Mary Williams on April 1, 1957. He was a Lamoille High School graduate in the class on 1975, and for many years, Paul worked construction for Union Local 76. Paul enjoyed much of his life drinking beer, fishing and spoiling his cat Socks.
Paul was the father to Jamie Law of Morrisonville, IL. Grandfather to Bry Williams of Bourbonnais, IL, Michael Law of Walnut, IL, and Kaden Lawson of Morrisonville, IL. He was the brother to Walter Fogle of El Segundo CA, Dave (Judy) Fogle of Van Orin, IL, Jim (Bonnie) Williams of Belvidere IL, and Mark Williams, Peru IL. Paul was also the caretaker of his beloved and spoiled cat, Socks.
Paul was proceeded in death by his parents, Donald and Mary, as well as his step-father Earnest Halley.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 11 am at the Van Orin Gospel Church Main St., Van Orin, IL 61374. Josh Simpkins will be officiating. Burial will follow at Van Orin Repose Cemetery & Bach Memorial Chapel. The family will greet friends and family from 9 am to 11 am on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at the Van Orin Gospel Church. The family would like to extend their gratitude to those who have helped care for Paul during his fight with cancer. Specifically, Paula Fischer and Judy Fogle, for their constant and loving care.
